Release Notes

This release introduces enhancements to PF Forms, PF Navigator, and PF Diagnostics, along with updates to theming capabilities, API improvements, and fixes to improve overall system behaviour and reliability.

New & Improved

PF Forms Enhancements

  • Repeatable Section support for Child Sections
    Child Sections can now be configured using a Repeatable Section display format.

  • Multi Select Drop Down support for Option Sets
    PF Forms now support Multi Select Drop Down for Option Sets.

  • Multi select rendering improvements
    Multi select values can now be rendered using both drop downs and tiles.

  • Persist multi select values
    Multi select selections are now persisted in the datastore.

  • Correlation ID support for Integration Workflow
    PF Forms now send a Correlation ID when invoking an Integration Workflow.

  • Temporary Simple Dialog support
    A temporary Simple Dialog workaround has been introduced to prompt front end users when removing a record from a grid section.

Theming

  • APIs for managing themes in PF Forms
    New APIs are available to create and maintain themes for PF Forms.

PF Navigator Enhancements

  • Metadata Config API improvements
    Enhancements to the PF Navigator Metadata Config API, improving metadata handling and configuration capabilities.

PF Diagnostics Enhancements

  • Results grid for form instances
    PF Diagnostics API now supports a results grid for form instances, allowing filtering by User Session or Form Instance ID.

  • Form instance debug view
    A debug view for form instances has been introduced.

  • Installation name in platform versions
    Platform version APIs now include the installation name.

  • Improved handling of custom modal navigation, ensuring correct behaviour when navigating between pages.
  • Enhancements to form execution and rendering consistency.
  • Improvements to overall form configuration behaviour and usability.

Platform Behaviour

  • Default environment protection
    Prevented deletion of the default environment.

  • General improvements to platform stability and API behaviour.

Bug Fixes

Forms & UI

  • Fixed an issue where custom modal buttons navigating to another page did not close the modal dialog after navigation.
  • Fixed issues affecting form behaviour and configuration stability.
  • Fixed issues impacting UI rendering and interaction consistency.

Platform

  • Fixed an issue where a business object could not be marked as a Reference Object when it contained a currency field with data.
  • Additional fixes applied to improve platform behaviour and reliability.

Reliability Improvements

  • General improvements to system stability and execution behaviour across PF Forms and related components.
  • Backend and API improvements to support more consistent and reliable processing.

Post-Deployment Steps for this build

To support new features, there a couple of post-deployment steps that need to be done for this release:

  1. To enable Concurrency Checks, refer to the steps provided in Concurrency Control

  2. To auto-populate the default templetes for the multi-select dropdown, multi-select checkbox and multi-select checkbox item, for each theme in the project:

    i. Open the theme

    ii. Click edit

    iii. Click Save & Close
