Data Sovereignty

When a customer uses the Customer Hosted Model, the customer manages, maintains and controls all the customer data. This includes the configuration data (for example configuration of a Factorial Flow), runtime data of of the execution of a Factorial Flow and the transactional data on the Data Store

In the Customer Hosted Model, the platform will only call out to the NPO Factorial servers for the following reasons: - Aggregate consumption information for billing purposes. This is completely anonymous and aggregated. - Aggregate usage information at a macro level. This is again completely anonymous. NPO Factorial only uses this to see how the platform is used so that we can make improvements. For example: - how many processes are used (identifiable information of the process is not included, such as Ids, Names, Descriptions, etc) - how often does a process execute a particular control (Create Record, Update record, Conditional, etc) - how long it takes on average to execute a particular control - Licence checks.
